Rev. John J. Bryk, Age 92, Retired Cleveland Catholic Diocese Priest for 67 years and proud son of John and Lillian Bryk (both deceased). Special Nephew to Rose Duda (Deceased). Loving brother and best friend to his sister Joann Jablonski (Richard Deceased). Best Uncle Ever and Second father to his nieces and nephews: Richard Jablonski (Patti), John Jablonski (Deceased), Elaine Eidam (Ed), and Eileen Hawkins (Brian). Loving Great Uncle and Second Grandfather to his Great Nieces and Nephews: Beth (Jonathan) Roebuck, Joey (Lisa) Jablonski, Jason Eidam, Brittany (Aaron) Lapaglia, Matthew Jablonski (deceased), Christine Jablonski (J.J.), Alyssa Eidam, Christopher Hawkins (Whittney), Zachary Eidam and Grant Hawkins. Great-Great Uncle of Karson and Levi Jablonski and Nora and Hudson Roebuck. He also was a nephew, cousin and friend to many special people in his life (too many too list both living and deceased). Fr. John was a quiet, kind and very humble priest who absolutely loved being a Good and Holy Priest for the Diocese of Cleveland. He humbly served others and his family never wanting anything for himself. Our world is definitely a better place because of him and we are all better people because we were blessed to have him in our lives. Fr. John served many people at St. Stanislaus, Lorain, St. John Cantius Cleveland, He was pastor at St. Casmir’s, Cleveland and St. Hedwig’s in Lakewood. Vespers Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 3:00 – 4:00 P.M. at St. Basil the Great Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd. Brecksville, OH 44141 with visitation to follow in the Church from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Basil the Great Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Museum of Divine Statues, Lakewood OH or St. Basil’s Church Catholic Church, Brecksville OH or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memphis TN.
